The Dilasheni village of Baitadi has decided to go for 11 days lockdown saying that the risk of corona infection has increased. Chief Administrative Officer of the village, Pankha Bahadur Shah, informed that the area was locked after the corona was confirmed in six more people of the village on Tuesday. He said, "Corona risk has increased. At present, 16 active people are infected in the village. The decision has been taken as per the decision of the Disaster Management Committee."

Shah said that the operation of short and long-distance vehicles will be banned during the lockdown period and all non-emergency services provided by the village municipality and all the seven ward offices will be closed. Similarly, schools in all the villages will remain closed and all crowded programs have been banned.

During the lockdown, daily consumer shops will be open from 8 am to 9 am, banks and financial institutions in the village will be open only three days a week on Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday. Similarly, health service providers, ambulances and other services will also be operated during the lockdown. It is suspected that corona has spread in the community of Dilashani village in recent times.

Earlier, the Dasharathchanda Municipality in the district headquarters had also suspended the strike saying that the risk of corona had increased. One person has died in Baitadi so far after 568 cases of corona infection were confirmed. Of those infected, 499 have won corona and 68 are still active, according to the health office.
