A total of 6,205 more people have recovered from COVID-19 in last 24 hours. With this, 440,955 people have recovered from the virus so far.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, altogether 4,369 new COVID-19 cases were recorded across the nation during the same period. With this, the number of active cases reached 108,897. 

A total of 10,986 PCR tests and 1,784 antigen tests were carried out in the past 24 hours. Three thousand seven hundred two people tested positive in course of carrying out 10,986 PCR tests while 667 people tested positive from the antigen tests. 

Similarly, 109 more people succumbed to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours. With this, the number of death toll reached 7,272. According to the Ministry, altogether 3,042,369 PCR tests have been done so far. The people from the age group 31-40 years have been highly infected with COVID-19 followed by the age group 21-30 years, the Ministry said.
