The country reported a total of 1,801 new cases of the Covid-19 infection in the past 24 hours with the death toll rising to a total of 9,550 people

The country reported a total of 1,801 new cases of the Covid-19 infection in the past 24 hours. With this, the Covid-19 caseload in the country reached 716,049 till July 18. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, altogether 1,223 new cases were confirmed through 6,628 RT-PCR tests and 578 cases through 3,000 antigen tests.

So far, a total of 632,074 individuals have recovered from the Covid-19. In the past 24 hours, 1,667 infected people returned home after complete recovery. Likewise, the Kathmandu Valley saw 334 new cases in the past 24 hours. The Ministry said that the Kathmandu district reported 234 new cases, 64 in Lalitpur and 36 in Bhaktapur.

Likewise, a total of 23 infected ones succumbed to the virus across the country in the past 24 hours, the Ministry said. With this, the number of COVID-19 deaths in Nepal reached 9,550 till July 18.
