With the increase in the number of visitors to see the sculpture, the footpath is indispensable for tourism promotion

Galkot municipality has started construction of Kauleni-Teuwa footpath to facilitate tourists on foot. About 200 meters of footpath has been constructed for Rs. 3 lakh allocated by the municipality in the current financial year. Starting from this year, the construction of footpaths has been initiated for the tourist attraction in Teuva.

With the increase in the number of visitors to see the sculpture, the footpath is indispensable for tourism promotion. Work has been done to reach Teuva from Hatiabazar by car to Harichor via footpath.

The road connecting Harichour to Teuva has also been upgraded. The construction of drains and widening of the road is going on. If the road is organized, more tourists can be brought in. The Harichor market, which is the entrance to Teuva, has started to become more organized. Rs 1.5 million allocated by the state government in the current financial year is for the reason behind improving the market area.

From this year, the Harichor market has been relatively organized and developed. This market is not only extended to Teuva but also to the entrance of Gaighat waterfall, which emphasises on beautifying it, planting flowers and cleanliness of the market area. Along with the construction of infrastructure, it has garnered publicity for tourism promotion as well.

Dozens of snow ranges including Annapurna and Machhapachhra can be seen from Teuva, while Baglung Gulmi and other places can also be seen from here. Galkot can be reached at a distance of 45 km from Baglung Bazar, the district headquarters, while Teuva can be reached in about an hour's journey from Galkot via Harichour. You can reach here in about two hours by walking, observing the life in the river beds, hills and villages._Rss
