In a spirit of camaraderie and cultural exchange, China Festival 2023 commenced in the heart of Tokyo's Yoyogi Park. The two-day festival, co-sponsored by the Chinese Embassy in Japan and the Executive Committee of China Festival 2023, marks the 45th anniversary of the signing of the China-Japan Treaty of Peace and Friendship. Its mission is to foster people-to-people exchanges between China and Japan.

The event boasts over 80 booths, including those from the China Cultural Center, the China National Tourism Office in Tokyo, and the China Enterprises Association in Japan. These diverse exhibits aim to create a vibrant platform for friendly interactions between the people of both nations, featuring cultural displays, tantalizing food tastings, tourism promotions, and more.

Distinguished guests, including former Japanese Prime Minister Yasuo Fukuda, Chinese Ambassador to Japan Wu Jianghao, Japan's ruling coalition party Komeito leader Yamaguchi Natsuo, and others, graced the opening ceremony with their presence and delivered inspiring speeches.

Mr. Fukuda, who also serves as the top advisor of the Executive Committee of the China Festival 2023, noted the festival's growing popularity and emphasized its role in enhancing mutual understanding between China and Japan.
