For the promotion of agriculture, tourism, industry and trade, the 7th edition of 'Virat Expo' is claimed to be held at the old airfield located at Postgraduate Campus Biratnagar-14.
Exchange of experience among industrialists, startup corner, information on tourist destinations and daily package tours, commercialization of local food dishes will be explored through the expo. There will be 415 stalls in the exhibition, and there will also be stalls of products, distributors and market promoters from India, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Pakistan, Thailand, and China.
It is estimated that 300,000 people, including locals and Indians, will visit the expo, and it is claimed that there will be a business of Rs 500 million. According to the organisers, Rs 25 million will be spent on the expo project.
“The exhibition will run from November 29th to January 6th. Since this kind of exhibition has been going on in Biratnagar for a long time, the program will be organised to make it an economic business run.” Said Suyash Pyakurel, president of the organisation.
“The exhibition was organised for the development of agricultural production, agricultural enterprise, industry, tourism and other sectors.” He added.
