The Love-Kush Swing Bridge now has became a popular domestic tourist destination instead of a bridge to reach Valmiki Ashram.

An attractive suspension bridge has been built connecting Valmiki Ashram in Chitwan and Triveni Dham in Nawalparasi. This bridge built on the Narayani River is nicknamed Love-Kush Swing Bridge by the locals. This bridge attracts everyone who comes here. It has been almost a year since the construction of the bridge was completed, but it has not been put into operation.

This bridge was built to reach the Valmiki Ashram in Chitwan through the territory of Nepal, but it is forbidden to enter Chitwan through the bridge. After blocking entry to the bridge built for the entrance of Valmiki's ashram, now this bridge has become a place to walk around and take photos. Now, daily around 100 people reach the bridge to visit, stroll around and click pictures in this bridge. This has become a popular domestic tourist destination instead of a bridge to reach Valmiki Ashram.

Nepalese now have to use Indian land to reach the Ashram in Madi Municipality-1 of Chitwan. The Ashram can be reached by crossing the Gandaka Dam and passing through Indian land for about eight kilometers. Therefore, if this bridge is put into operation soon, it will be easy to reach the ashram. People from India's Vihar, Uttar Pradesh come here and take photos..

A board saying "It is strictly forbidden to enter Chitwan National Park. It is a common responsibility of all of us to protect and protect wild animals.” Is kept near the bridge area.

Narayan Prasad Upadhyay, a local there, expressed his disappointment saying, “The bridge has not served the purpose for which it was built but, now this place has become a place to visit. If the environment for crossing the bridge is created soon, tourism will develop here and the dream of all Nepalese wishing to visit the famous religious place Valmiki Ashram through Nepal will be fulfilled.”

According to Haribhadra Acharya, Chief Conservation Officer of the park, “Even though the bridge has been built, the security post has not been built, so it is difficult to operate now. It is the core area of the park from the point of view of security. The bridge will be operational after the construction of the security post and walking route. If the municipality allocates the budget for the construction of the footpath and coordinates with the park, the work can be carried forward soon.” _RSS
