At the ongoing industrial trade festival in Nepalgunj where the audience is enjoying the Tharu culture. The provincial industrial, small household and agriculture, technology trade, and tourism festival has a crowd of spectators to see the Tharu culture and taste the Tharu dishes.
In Tharu village, Tharu dishes Ghoghi, Bangur dishes, local breed chicken meat, fish dishes, prawns, Gangta dishes, pickles ground in dokni, and other Jhols were available.
The Tharu village was organized for the promotion of Tharu art and culture during the festival. A festival has been organized in Nepalganj for the promotion of the industrial and tourism sector in western Nepal.
Around two lakh visitors were expected to watch the state-level festival which will be held for 15 days from last Tuesday at the road division premises of Nepalgunj. At the festival, 300 stalls from agriculture, tourism, industry, trade, and other sectors have been set up to give priority to locally produced goods and services.
“Most of the spectators who come to see the festival go to Tharu village, so every room in Tharu village is full of customers,” Madhu Khadka, president of Nepal Household and Small Industries Association Banke informed.
“Tharugaun was conducted in 17 halls of the festival. There is a crowd of people in the Tharu village to taste the Tharu food. Tharu dishes are decorated in the hall of the Tharu village placed inside the festival. The audience who came to watch the festival used to line up to taste the Tharu dishes,” said Director Hemant Chaudhary._Rss
