With the arrival of autumn, the number of local and international visitors coming to Rasuwa for mountain hiking has gradually increased.

Every day, on average, 50 people arrive to go hiking along Rasuwa's steep route. As previously mentioned, the district saw a significantly reduced number of visitors during and immediately after the coronavirus pandemic.

The hotel and lodge business sector which was hit-hard by the COVID pandemic is gradually bouncing back. With the rise in the influx of tourists, the tourism service providers have also become optimistic for the revival of the tourism sector.

The number of women visiting the Gosainkunda and Langtang regions for trekking has increased, according to figures from the Langtang National Park.

2,846 women were among the 13,084 domestic and international visitors that arrived in the district between mid-July and mid-October this year, according to the figures.

Through the Sundarijal-Helambu mountain trekking route and the Dhunche-Chandanwari trekking path, hikers can access Gosainkunda and then go on to Kyangjen of Langtang from Cholangpati through Thulosyafru.

From mid-July to mid-October of this year, 11,758 Nepalese and 1,326 foreigners entered the park's grounds to take in the scenery.

The number of visitors from the SAARC region was just 67, whereas 1,259 tourists from the United States, Germany, Japan, Korea, Australia, and other countries entered the national park.

“2,297 of the female tourists were local visitors and 549 were overseas visitors.” Said Nitendra Singh, a Park Forest technician._Rss
