The Mount Everest climbing season has started, with the Sagarmatha Pollution Control Committee (SPCC) reporting the opening of the trail through the Khumbu Icefall. A team of skilled icefall doctors, including Ang Sarki Sherpa, Dawa Nuru Sherpa, and others, have carefully mapped the route from Base Camp to Camp 2. Safety is crucial, as climbers are advised to go up ladders one at a time and to lighten their loads to prevent overloading.
Strict adherence to safety measures, like using harnesses, is stressed to ensure the security of all climbers. Additionally, any encountered issues should be quickly reported to the Everest Base Camp and SPCC office for immediate help. With these precautions in place, SPCC sends wishes for a safe and successful climbing expedition to all adventurers taking on the challenge of Mount Everest.
