The kathmandu Pink CareAthon, in collaboration with the Nepal Police Wives Association, is making it's highly anticipated comeback in 2024, this event will feature a walk/run with three distance options: 3 km, 5 km and 10 km, starting and ending at the police Headquarters in Naxal, Kathmandu.
Participants will receive T-shirts and finisher's medals, and prizes will be awarded to the top five finishers in each category, eith additional gifts for lucky attendees.
Indian actor and middle Jay Bhanushaki will host the event, and registration is available through Esewa. The Kathmandu Pink CareAthon aims to raise awareness against breast cancer, women's health, and overall well-being and empowerment of women. Originating in 2017, subsequent editions attracted thousands of participants until the event was paused due to the COVID-19 pandemic. CareAthon, along with it's ambassadors and influencers, strives to inspire women to embrace healthier lifestyles for themselves and their families.
