A weeklong religious event called Goraksha Mahayagya will be held on May 5 in Kageshwori Manohara municipality-8. The aim of the event is to collect funds for the protection of street cattle, according to event coordinator Uttam Pudasaini. This is said to be the first event of its kind aimed at conserving stray cows.
During the Mahayagya, Pundit Dinbandhu Pokhrel will recite mythical stories. The Stray Cows Protection Campaign, which has been implemented since May 15, 2018, will be the focus of the event. Vice President Ramsahay Prasad Yadav is scheduled to inaugurate the event, and the local government has arranged for an ambulance to assist with street cattle._Rss
