First-ever woman quarantine facility in Rapti Municipality

Considering the need for women-friendly quarantine facility, Rapti Municipality in Chitwan has arranged a separate quarantine centre for women and children. It is the first-ever woman quarantine.

Rapti Municipality in Chitwan has put in place a separate quarantine for women and children. This is the first-ever quarantine managed for women and children in the district.

The municipality has arranged the quarantine at Bhandara secondary school in Rapti-6 acting on the complaint that there were no women-friendly quarantine facilities.

Mayor Prabha Baral informed though the 30-bed quarantine has been arranged for now it would be upgraded to 50-bed soon.
