The Doleshwar Mahadev Preservation and Development Committee of Kedarnath has kept the four doors of the temple open so that devotees could touch the idol and pray

In the Doleshwar Mahadev temple of Kedarnath, located in Sipadol, Bhaktapur, all four doors of the temple were opened today, and the devotees could worship by touching the idol.

Harisharan Basnet, secretary general of the committee, said that since the day Doleshwar was declared to be part of Kedarnath's head, the Doleshwar Mahadev Preservation and Development Committee of Kedarnath has kept the four doors of the temple open so that devotees could touch the idol and pray. The committee has been making arrangements in Doleshwar for three days of the year, on Mahashivratri, Akshaya Tritiya, and the 6th of Bhadra, to keep all four doors of the temple open so that devotees can worship by touching the stone.

Meanwhile, the Shravani Mela, which has been running since Shrawan 1st at Doleshwar Mahadev Temple, is coming to an end today. The committee will start the Shravani Mela by performing a pilgrimage from the local Chandravinayak temple to Doleswar Mahadev on the 1st of Sharwan, which is the special month of Lord Shiva. General Secretary Basnet said that the fair is being concluded with a special puja of Doleshwar on this day._Rss
