249 people in Jumla returned home after they were tested negative for COVID-19 today. They had recently returned Nepal from India and the third countries.

A total of 249 people who were staying in different quarantine facilities in Jumla have returned home today after they tested negative for COVID-19.

They were the new entrants to the district from India and the third countries and were quarantined owing to the threat of the COVID-19 outbreak.

According to Chief District Officer Bhupendra Thapa, they returned home after their lab tests came negative for COVID-19. He added that they were kept in different eight quarantine facilities in the district. It is stated that 800-bed quarantines were prepared in eight local levels.

Similarly, 528 individuals are still quarantined in the local levels.
