The 17th food festival is going to be organised in Sauraha, Chitwan on the occasion of Valentine's Day. The Restaurant and Bar Association of Nepal (REBAN) is organising the food festival on the street of Sauraha from February 12-14.
The arrangement would be made where one can enjoy food and cultural programs on the street from Hattichowk to Dyak. Likewise, the art and culture of indigenous nationalities would also be performed in the evening every day during the festival. The organiser has expected that around 5,000 tourists would visit the festival and transactions worth Rs 30 million every day during the festival.
Educational support would be provided to poor and intelligent students and priority would be given to lessening the use of plastic-made products with the objective of reducing the environmental pollution.
“The different types of local and foreign foods would be kept in the food festival. Similarly, local art, culture, and attires would also be put on display in the festival,” Programme coordinator Dhurba Giri shared._Rss
