June 13, the trekking route from Naurabhir to Sallaghari, Dhaulagiri has been repaired and broadened

A trekking route to the base camp of Dhaulagiri Mountain has been constructed for the safe passage and enjoyment of the travellers. Repair and maintenance of the trekking route from Naurabhir to Sallaghari has been done at a cost of Rs 5 million provided by the Gandaki state government's Ministry of Industry, Tourism, Forest and Environment.

Thamsara Pun, Chairperson of Dhaulagiri rural municipality, said that 9.4 kilometres narrow route has been widened and stone steps build at difficult points. Similarly, trekking route linking Malkabang from Jeltung of Bagar via Singhkus and Jurkus has been repaired from the same budget. Trekking route from Italy base camp to Swiss camp has also been constructed from Rs 1.5 million allocated by the Tourism Ministry of the Federal government this year.

After the constructions of the trekking route, visiting Dhaulagiri base camp, round Dhaulagiri and climbing other mountains is more convenient and recreational.
