Christmas is no fun without the traditional Christmas cake; and making this cake is no quick and easy task. The stirring ceremony is part of an age-old Christmas tradition of cake mixing. Originally a family affair, it is for many years celebrated within organizations to spread solidarity and goodwill.
The Akama Hotel celebrated its first annual fruit-soaking / cake mixing ceremony with great pride at its poolside Garden. The special invitees were Abdullah Tuncer Kececi, Country Manager of Turkish Airlines, Sugarika KC, Miss Nepal 2005 and Nisha Pathak, Miss Global International 2014. The invitees and chefs donned aprons, gloves and caps, and armed themselves with bottles of liquor, ready to tackle the colourful mounds of dry fruits, nuts and spices.
Board of Directors and Director of Sales & Marketing, Kaushal K. Singh & the Chef of the Akama Hotel briefly addressed the invitees and announced the commencement of the ceremony before the mixing. After the fun-filled mixing, high tea was served.
