With the heat peaking and the monsoon in, we all crave for that spot to relax which also serves good food. Located in Sanepa near Heritage Garden, The Yard by Oasis Garden Homes is the perfect choice to have a good meal in the patio or around the picnic tables, perfect for winters, summers or monsoons.
With stunning contemporary art works adorning the walls to organic herbal garden to give the fresh touch to the food, The Yard by Oasis Garden has a pleasant atmosphere to spend a quality time. The Yard offers various seating choices, near the vegetable garden under the umbrella, graveled area with picnic tables and the ever comfortable deck area. This place is apt for spending ‘me time’ or ‘we time’ with friends and family with a glass of chilled beer, choice of other drinks and a variety of scrumptious delight.
We were first served the Italian antipasto, the Mushroom Bruschetta. This creamy tangy appetizer has sautéed mushroom topped on slices of toasted baguette with shaved parmesan. All in all a great starter. The second appetizer was the Seafood basket, one of the bestsellers of the place. This delightful basket filled with crispy deep-fried fish fillets, king size prawns and calamari served with fries and mayo dip was to die for. Clean taste of seafood lingered in our taste buds for a very longtime.
After the appetizers, it was time for mouth-watering Mediterranean Salad with grilled chicken. Fresh Lettuce with tomatoes, bell pepper, olives, cucumber, feta cheese and red onions with balsamic vinaigrette dressing complemented the juicy grilled chicken. A perfect choice of light dish especially during the summer.
After the scrumptious appetizers and salad came our main course. Crispy Chicken Schnitzel with mashed potatoes and steamed vegetables served with mushroom sauce. Crunchy savory chicken breast served alongside a creamy mushroom sauce was a perfect combination. This however wasn’t the end of our main course. The best was saved for the last, the Pork Chop. This tender grilled Pork chop coated with BBQ sauce with a topping of grilled pineapple served with a choice of fries/ mashed potatoes and a side of salad/ steamed vegetables was our second main course. The smooth BBQ sauce and the succulent pork chop was simply melt in the mouth.
All in all The Yard by Oasis Garden is a perfect place to enjoy a good time, get lost in warm conversation with friends and family on a sunny afternoon or a rainy evening.
