Walter Pereira brings over 20 years of experience with Hyatt, aiming to elevate guest experiences and community engagement at Hyatt Centric Soalteemode Kathmandu.

Hyatt Centric Soalteemode Kathmandu has appointed Walter Pereira as its new General Manager, effective February 15, 2025.

With more than two decades of experience in the Hyatt family, Pereira began his career in 2002 with the pre-opening team of India’s first Park Hyatt. His extensive background in food and beverage operations includes significant roles at Park Hyatt Goa Resort and Spa, where he advanced through various leadership positions. He later joined the Grand Hyatt Goa’s pre-opening team, starting as an Outlet Manager and rising to Assistant Director of Food & Beverage.

In 2017, Pereira took on the role of pre-opening Director of Food & Beverage at Hyatt Regency Lucknow, playing a key role in launching the hotel. His journey with Hyatt continued at Grand Hyatt Goa before he moved to Hyatt Regency Kathmandu in 2022 as Director of Operations. His operational expertise and focus on delivering outstanding guest experiences have earned him respect within the Hyatt brand.

Expressing his enthusiasm for his new role, Walter Pereira stated, “I am thrilled to join Hyatt Centric Soalteemode  Kathmandu, work closely with the team, and collaborate with local partners to curate shareworthy experiences for  all our stakeholders.” 

Under Pereira’s leadership, Hyatt Centric Soalteemode Kathmandu aims to drive innovation, enhance guest experiences, and strengthen community ties, reinforcing its position as a premier destination in Kathmandu.
