A person has tested positive for the COVID-19 infection, according to Information Officer at the Ministry of Health and Population, Ganesh Shreevastav, today.
He further said the person tested positive today has been receiving treatment at the isolation ward of Shukraj Tropical and Infectious Disease Control Hospital, Teku, Kathmandu. With this, the number of persons who tested positive for COVID-19 has reached three in Nepal. The first one has been cured and returned home, while the second one was a 19-year-old lady who returned from France via Qatar. As per the Ministry update, a total of 687 persons have been tested for COVID-19, among which only three were positive.
