The Sapta Project is a mentorship initiative founded by Sapta Collective, a social enterprise based in Hong Kong and Singapore. The Sapta Project aims to educate and empower students with global skills and knowledge from international mentors from various industries and produce a new generation of elevated leaders for the hospitality and tourism industry in Nepal.
The maiden journey for The Sapta Project began through a partnership with GATE College in Kathmandu and the FAB School in Pokhara, through which Michelin Star Chef Manuel Berganza and Bespoke Celebrity Florist Justin Koh of Fleurlicious in Singapore were invited to Nepal to train hospitality students on the art of Michelin Star cooking and contemporary floral design.
The Sapta Project aims to deliver a series of mentor workshops every quarter in 2020, focused entirely in Nepal. This initiative is completely volunteer based and is proudly sponsored by PriceBreaker, a leisure travel brand under Pacific Arena, one of the largest travel management companies in Singapore.
