The Tansen-Butwal road section has come to a grinding halt after rain triggered a landslide that disrupted the Siddhartha Highway.

With the landslide on the highway, the Tansen-Butwal road stretch has been obstructed since early this morning.

Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) of Palpa District Police Office, Madan Giri informed that highway traffic has been completely disrupted at Tansen-8, Gaundepool. It is difficult to remove the debris from the landslide on the highway due to continuous rain, police said. Landslides are still occurring in the area due to incessant rain.
