The International Mountain Museum (IMM) in Pokhara presented a permanent exhibition of photographs showcasing Slovenian expeditions on Nepal’s mountains. The exhibition was inaugurated by Mr. Dhansingh Mahara, an honorable judge of the High Court in Pokhara.
This collection, provided by the Alpine Association of Slovenia, narrates the history of Slovenians climbing in Nepal. The inauguration was graced by notable figures such as Mr. Achyut Kuikel, the Registrar of the High Court in Pokhara, and Mr. Bharatmani Pandey, the Chief District Officer (CDO).

The Alpine Association of Slovenia has long been a staunch supporter of the Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA), significantly contributing to the advancement of mountain tourism in Nepal. Notably, the association financially supported the construction of a high-altitude mountaineering training center in Manang, operated by the NMA.

The NMA is optimistic that this exhibition will strengthen ties with the Alpine Association of Slovenia. Chief Administrative Officer Mr. Jinesh Sindurakar stated, "The Slovenian Alpine Association has been our biggest supporter in the past, and this photo exhibition will surely help us continue our relationship. We anticipate a stronger partnership in the future for the betterment of our mountain tourism."
