After the budget airline closed its office in Germany's busiest airport, Frankfurt, has unveiled its biggest and most ambitious summer schedule from its country of origin, Ireland

Ryanair, the budget airline after closing its office in Germany's busiest airport, Frankfurt, has unveiled its biggest and most ambitious summer schedule from its country of origin, Ireland. From the airport in Dublin, Ryanair has announced 120 destinations of over 900 weekly flights being available to customers.

This schedule will include 22 new aeroplane routes this summer, with destinations in Spain, Portugal and Italy. It has also confirmed openings of 30 jobs due to needing additional aircraft for the Dublin-based fleet.

The decision by Ryanair was made in consideration of the directions provided by the Traffic Recovery Support Scheme (TRSS). With the air carrier predicting a 15% decrease in the total number of seats and airlines cutting capacity and routes this summer, the carrier has advised Ireland to lower their access costs to be competitive against other countries in the EU for a diminished pool of carriers.
