Jeevan Ram Shrestha, the minister of culture, tourism, and civil aviation, has ordered the rescue of tourists, both local and foreign, as well as mountaineers who have become stuck at various locations across the nation because of persistent rain and snowfall.

He called representatives from the Ministry's security agencies, the Department of Tourism, and other departments and requested that they act quickly to save the trapped persons.

The Minister took action after learning that numerous people, including domestic and foreign tourists, as well as mountaineers, were left stranded at numerous locations throughout the nation, including Manang, Gorkha, Mustang, and Upper Dolpa because of terrible weather.
