According to the Department of Water and Meteorology, pre-monsoon has started all over the country with the end of winter.

According to meteorologist Manju Basi, the pre-monsoon which started on March 1 i.e. today will last for three months. The pre-monsoon period will last until March, April, and May, after which the monsoon will begin.

During the pre-monsoon weather forecasters, there is a possibility of thunder and lightning in the afternoon as well as wind and hail. During this weather, the influence of local wind is high.

There is a possibility of light rain in one or two places in the hilly areas this afternoon due to the influence of local winds. Today there is a possibility of light rain and snowfall in one or two places in the Far West and Karnali region.

According to the Department of Water and Meteorology, there has been less rain in winter this year than in 14 years. At the end of the winter season, a few days ago there was light to moderate rain in some places including Kathmandu, and Pokhara.
