PATA Nepal Student Chapter is a group of students who are enthusiastic about travel and tourism and are enrolled in tourism and hospitality management colleges in Nepal, a member of PATA Nepal.
Participation in Student Chapter affairs ensues at the local and personal levels, and Student Chapter activities are generally deliberated to benefit student members through locally organised travel and tourism educational programs, community projects, and discussions that deal with tourism affairs or changes within the tourism business environment.
PATA Nepal Student Chapter formed a new executive committee under the chairpersonship of Nikesh KC, a student representing Mid Valley International College. Rejina Upreti, elected as chairperson from January 10, 2020, to September 26, 2022, is replaced by KC. Upreti remains on the committee as the immediate past chairperson. Similarly, Suresh Singh Budal, CEO of the PATA Nepal Chapter, remains an Advisor.
KC, the newly elected chairperson, extended his gratitude and thanks to all newly elected committee members and PATA for the new opportunity and responsibility.
The newly elected committee consists of 16 members, including Chairperson KC from Mid-Valley International College, 1st Vice Chairperson Pradakshina Hamal from Little Angels’ College of Management, 2nd Vice Chairperson Sudha Shakya from Global College International, Secretary Rupesh Khadka Global Academy of Tourism and Hospitality Education, and Treasurer Aastha Bhusal from Citizen College.
Other Executive Committee Members include Rafiya Banu (Silver Mountain School of Hotel Management), Isha Khatiwada (International School of Tourism and Hotel Management), Manoj Sharma (Atharva Business College), Anuska Pradhan (Nepal Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management), Sujana Dahal (Premier Hotel School), Sandikshya Kimdang Rai (Gateway College of Professional Studies), Sunil Pathak (Nepal College of Travel and Tourism Management), Rishav Maharjan (Kathmandu Academy of Tourism and Hospitality), Amrita Karki from (Premier College of Hospitality Management), Sohan Kafle (Aadarsha School of Management), Paribesh Rajdhami (Sunshine School of Tourism and Hotel Management) and Kripa Tamang from (Dharan International College of Hotel Management).
