In Saudi Arabia, an Italian design studio is planning to build a yacht like no other, called Pangeos, and shaped like a giant turtle.
Pangeos will be known as a floating city with its own villas, beach clubs, a mall, and the capacity to accommodate 60000 people at once. The Pangeos will also have a rooftop garden and other dwarf yachts for security reasons. The Pangeos would continue to travel the oceans with no fixed destination.
The floating city is an unpredictable feat of engineering, assuming the concept is ever realised. If that happens, the ship will be built in a 419800 square foot shipyard in Saudi Arabia.
If the concept is made into reality, it would stretch 1800 feet and will have openings around it to give access to small other vessels, yacht inside the Pangeos.
The construction cost of this lavish project is estimated at around $5 billion.
