Number of climbers increasing this autumn

Though the spring season is considered to be the most suitable season for mountain climbing in Nepal, many climbers are visiting the country to climb some mountains.

Hundreds of climbers climbed different mountains during spring this year. 67 climbers from different countries have received permission to climb the mountains of Nepal this autumn, among which 57 are men and 10 are women. 14 people from Argentina, 10 people from the United Arab Emirates and 8 people from America received permission to climb mountains this autumn. Climbers from 19 countries have received climbing permits so far.

Mt. Manaslu attracts the most climbers this season. 63 people have got permission to climb this mountain. Similarly, 3 people have got permission in Himlung and 3 people in Sarebung.

The government of Nepal has so far collected 57 thousand 575 US dollars in revenue by granting mountain climbing permits.

According to the related trekking companies, the number of climbers coming to Nepal for climbing in autumn may increase for a few more days.
