Nepal ranked as the 'happiest country' in South Asia

Nepal is ranked 85th among South Asian countries which is the highest among the South Asian countries while India ranked 136th, Bangladesh 99th and Pakistan 103rd.

The 10th edition of the World Happiness Report released on Friday has listed Finland as the happiest country this year as well. The Nordic country has been on the top list of happiest nations for five consecutive years. But in the South Asian area, Nepal was ranked the highest in happiness.

Nepal is ranked 85th among South Asian countries while India is ranked 136th. Similarly, Bangladesh is ranked 99th and Pakistan 103rd in the list of happiest countries in South Asia. As per the report, China is ranked 82nd, which is three places above Nepal.Meanwhile, Afghanistan has been listed as the saddest country in South Asia in the report.
