Kathmandu, Nepal – Nepal is set to shine on the global stage with the announcement of its national delegates for Model Tourism Ambassador World 2026, taking place from 23-29 June 2026. The event will bring together young talents from across the world, promoting cultural exchange, youth leadership, and Nepal’s tourism, while highlighting the nation’s heritage, traditions, and family-friendly global engagement.
The Nepali delegates were selected during Kids Star International Nepal 2026 - Season 5, held on 24 February 2026 at Lalitpur Music City, organised by Fashion Era. The event is renowned for grooming young Nepali talent for national and international platforms, emphasising discipline, confidence, and stage presence.
The season’s highlight is 5-year-old Devansita Biswas Shrestha, the youngest delegate selected for Model Tourism Ambassador World 2026 through a special organiser’s choice. Her surprise crowning and confident ramp walk captivated judges and audiences, marking a historic and inspirational moment. She was chosen for her natural confidence, stage presence, and exceptional potential.
Joining her, the official Nepali delegation includes Niza Thapa Magar, Devansi Gurung, Hrishit Adari, Alex Luitel, Arogya Sharma, Aarohi Shahi, Alishma KC, Abhaya Baral, and Abhusan Bhandari, all set to represent Nepal with pride, professionalism, and cultural grace.
Beyond pageantry, Model Tourism Ambassador World 2026 will elevate Nepal’s tourism and cultural profile, highlighting its heritage, traditional attire, local cuisine, iconic destinations, and hospitality. Delegates will engage in cultural visits, heritage showcases, and tourism promotion, acting as global storytellers of Nepal’s identity. Under Fashion Era’s guidance, Devansita and the Nepali team are set to shine internationally, making the event a celebration of youth talent, culture, and Nepal’s global presence.
