Before this, there was a solar eclipse on the 8th of Kartik, Tuesday, on the day of Kartik Krishna Aunsi. In this way, the committee said that there will be an eclipse on both sides of the month of October this year.
“The eclipse will be abolished at 05:27 pm. It can be received at 06:34 pm. The eclipse will be visible from Nepal for one hour and 23 minutes.” Said Surya Prasad Dhungel, executive director of the committee
“It is mentioned in the scriptures that sutak starts nine hours before the lunar eclipse. From 08:11 AM on Tuesday, 22nd of Kartik, food is prohibited except for children, the elderly, and the sick.” Said Prof. Dr. Ramachandra Gautam, a theologian.
“Only after the eclipse is over at 06:34 in the evening, one can eat. There is a scriptural saying that performing activities such as chanting, bathing, meditation, reciting, etc. during the eclipse will be fruitful.” He added._Rss
