Kathmandu, Nepal – 28 April 2026

Kathmandu Marriott Hotel commemorated its 7th anniversary with an elegant evening that brought together key figures from Nepal’s hospitality and tourism landscape.

The celebration was attended by an esteemed gathering that included the Chairperson of Prisoners Assistance Nepal, Subani Ale Magar, alongside ambassadors, Marriott property dignitaries from around the world, and prominent personalities from the travel and tourism sector. The occasion reflected both the hotel’s achievements and the strong network of partnerships it has cultivated over the years.

A Cultural and Contemporary Showcase

The evening unfolded through a thoughtfully curated programme that balanced formal elegance with engaging entertainment. Guests were treated to a series of performances that celebrated artistic diversity, including a refined ballet performance and a vibrant Newari cultural dance, offering a nod to both global expression and local heritage.

Complementing the cultural segment, the Nepali band Kanta Dabdab delivered a lively musical set, adding a contemporary rhythm to the celebration and energising the audience.

Culinary Experience and Hospitality

The evening concluded with a selection of curated appetisers and an elaborate dinner, thoughtfully presented by the hotel’s culinary team. The dining experience underscored Kathmandu Marriott’s continued emphasis on quality, innovation, and refined service; principles that have remained central to its journey over the past seven years.

Adding to the celebratory spirit, Kathmandu Marriott Hotel is concurrently hosting Rajasthani Rasoi, a limited-time culinary showcase at its signature restaurant, Thamel Kitchen. Held from 24 April to 2 May, the promotion brings the authentic flavours of Rajasthan to Kathmandu, curated by guest chef Mohabbat Singh from Marriott Udaipur, further enriching the hotel’s gastronomic offerings during this milestone period.

Reflecting on a Journey

Centred around the theme “7 Years of Hospitality – a journey shaped by meaningful stories, enduring connections, and memorable moments,” the evening served as both a reflection and a celebration of the hotel’s growth.

As Kathmandu Marriott Hotel marks this milestone, it reinforces its position within Nepal’s luxury hospitality sector, continuing to foster meaningful guest experiences while contributing to the country’s evolving tourism narrative.
