The much-anticipated GAI presents 11th Food, Beverage & Hospitality Exhibition officially commenced with a brief inauguration ceremony cum mocktail reception at Bhrikuti Mandap, setting the stage for one of Nepal’s most significant industry gatherings.
Held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, the exclusive, invite-only evening brought together distinguished guests, industry leaders, and hospitality professionals for an elegant opening that blended formal proceedings with vibrant networking opportunities.

Speaking at the event, Birendra Rajkarnicar, President of House of Rajkarnicar, reflected on the exhibition’s delayed timeline, originally planned for September 2025 but postponed due to national circumstances.
He outlined an ambitious roadmap for the future, announcing:
The India edition aims to target key regions such as Madhya Pradesh and Bihar, in collaboration with Indian trade networks. A major highlight will be Nepali culinary art demonstrations, designed to introduce Indian chefs to authentic Nepali flavours—placing special emphasis on the globally loved momo.
Echoing this vision, the President of Hotel Association of Nepal highlighted the broader goal of promoting gastronomy tourism between Nepal and India, while also strengthening Nepal’s positioning in:
