Jugal Rural Municipality of Sindhupalchowk has decided to arrange for health insurance for health workers who are working at the forefront of the national campaign for the prevention and control of the COVID-19 outbreak. The health insurance of Rs 1 million is managed in view of the crisis.
The meeting of the Rural Municipality on Wednesday decided to manage the insurance of one million rupees to each health worker if he or she is infected with COVID-19, said Municipality Chair Hom Narayan Shrestha. The Rural Municipality also decided to adopt standard measures for safe quarantines.
