BUTWAL, NEPAL (24 August 2026) Hyatt Place Butwal, under the leadership of General Manager Tushar Nagar, today announced the appointment of four new department heads, reinforcing its leadership bench across sales, food & beverage, human resources, and finance.
Mr. Pratik Bhatia brings over 12 years of experience in the hospitality industry, with expertise in hotel pre-openings, revenue strategy, and market expansion across hotels in India. He began his career in 2008 with Hyatt Hotels and Godfreys New Zealand, before joining Courtyard by Marriott Ahmedabad as Assistant Sales Manager in December 2017.
He went on to serve as Associate Director of Sales at Fairfield by Marriott Vadodara from February 2022, and most recently held the position of Director of Sales at Courtyard by Marriott Gurugram. Across these roles, he has consistently driven business analysis, sales strategy, and revenue growth.
Mr. Suraj Pandey brings over 15 years of hospitality experience, including global exposure across reputed hotels and cruise operations. He began his career in 2011 with Kempinski Hotel, Ajman, UAE, and Jumeirah Zabeel Saray, Dubai before joining Tiger Palace Resort & Casino, Bhairahawa, Nepal, as Assistant F&B Manager in September 2017.
He was promoted to F&B Manager at the same property in April 2021, and most recently served as F&B Manager at Siddhartha Vilasa, Bhairahawa. Throughout his career, he has worked closely with sales and marketing teams through direct client interactions, supporting event sales and client retention.
Mr. Tulasi Ram Regmi holds a Master's degree in HR from Kampala International University and brings over two decades of progressive experience in human resource management, employee relations, talent development, and organizational effectiveness across manufacturing, corporate, and hospitality sectors.
He began his career in teaching in 2001 in Nepal before relocating to Kampala, Uganda, where he spent 11.6 years advancing his hospitality career with the Ruparelia Group of Companies. In February 2017, he returned to Nepal to join Chaudhary Group as Senior HR Manager, leading large-scale engagement initiatives, HR analytics, and policy standardization.
He later served as HR Manager at Perfetti Van Melle Nepal before rejoining Chaudhary Group as Chief Manager, HR & Operations. He brings expertise in full-cycle talent management, compensation & benefits, labor law compliance, and HRIS systems including Workday.
Mr. Sanjeev Napit brings over 13 years of experience in the hospitality industry, with strong communication, time management, and analytical skills across lifestyle hotel brands. He began his career in April 2013 with Haldiram International Foods and Courtyard by Marriott, Raipur, before joining Fairfield by Marriott, Belagavi, as Assistant Manager in November 2019, where he strengthened his expertise in audit, bank reconciliation, and P&L.
He went on to serve as Finance Manager at Courtyard by Marriott, Shillong, from May 2023, and most recently held the position of Finance Manager at MHRS Jaisalmer. Across these roles, he has consistently led financial teams, budget allocation, and forecasting.
