Hyatt Centric Soalteemode Kathmandu is proud to announce the appointment of Gaurav Malik as its new Director of Food & Beverage. Bringing over 14 years of hospitality experience and a strong academic background in Hospitality and Tourism Management, Gaurav will lead the hotel’s culinary vision into an exciting new era.
Gaurav began his career in 2011 as a waiter and has since built an impressive track record, advancing through roles such as F&B Outlet Manager and Assistant F&B Manager. His expertise has been pivotal in several successful hotel pre-openings, and most recently, he served as Assistant Director of Food & Beverage at Grand Hyatt Goa.
A highlight of his career includes transforming an underutilized rooftop in Dubai into a renowned Nikkei cuisine restaurant, now celebrated as one of the city’s iconic dining destinations.
Originally from Delhi, India, Gaurav is not only passionate about his profession but also about life beyond work. A cricket enthusiast and avid cyclist, he enjoys exploring new destinations, with attending Munich’s Oktoberfest topping his bucket list.
