Sip & Support: Brewing Hope with Every Cup
Throughout September, guests at Holiday Inn Express Kathmandu were able to support a local charity with every drink ordered. This initiative allowed visitors to contribute to a worthy cause while enjoying their favorite beverages. The proceeds were used to purchase stationery and educational supplies for underprivileged and orphaned students at Tri-Padma Vidyashram Secondary School.
Hike, Heal, and Clean: A Journey of Wellness and Conservation
On September 21st, the hotel team participated in the "Hike, Heal, and Clean" adventure along the scenic Shivapuri trails. This activity not only promoted wellness and teamwork but also underscored the hotel’s commitment to preserving the natural environment. During the hike, the team collected litter and plastic bottles, raising awareness about the importance of environmental conservation and maintaining clean, litter-free trials.
Table of Hope: A Night of Music, Gourmet Dining, and Giving Back
On September 27th, Holiday Inn Express Kathmandu hosted the exclusive "Table of Hope" event—a special evening that combined live music, fine dining, and the spirit of generosity. Guests purchased tickets to enjoy an elegant evening, knowing that their participation was supporting a greater cause. The event raised NPR 2,95,000, which was donated to the Nepal Children’s Organization (Balmandir). The cheque was presented by the Board of Directors of Swornim Boutique Hotel and the General Manager of Holiday Inn Express Kathmandu, Mr. Karthi VK. The funds will support the organization’s work in providing education, shelter, and care for underprivileged and orphaned children across Nepal. This gathering exemplified the power of collective generosity, showcasing how unified efforts can create meaningful change.
Sweet Sundays: Bringing Joy to the Disabled Rehabilitation Center
Beginning in September 2024 and continuing through September 2025, Holiday Inn Express Kathmandu will deliver freshly baked pastries to the Disabled Rehabilitation Center in Gokarneshwor, Nepal, on the first Sunday of every month. This initiative, called "Sweet Sundays," aims to bring happiness and warmth to children in need, reinforcing the hotel’s commitment to spreading kindness and embodying the spirit of hospitality in the community.
