This festival will be organized in various venues over different timings, informed the organizer-World Vegan Organization Nepal. At a press meet here on Monday, the organizer shared that the event will be held in Lumbini on September 13 and 14 while the same event will be organized in Kathmandu on September 15, 16 and 17.
In Pokhara, the festival will be held from September 18 to 20. The first-ever Vegan Festival in the Himalayan nation is dedicated solely to introducing, educating and promoting a vegan lifestyle, said organizer Ajit Thapa. The festival is also expected to create public awareness about plant-based lifestyles and their benefits among the general public.
Over 100 participants from a total of 32 countries including India, Pakistan, Indonesia and the USA participants will participate in the Festival. Over 75 informative exhibitions, vegan foods stalls, vegan competitions and cooking classes by national and international chefs will be held during the Festival.
