Himalaya Airlines (H9) is excited to announce the commencement of scheduled flight operations between Kathmandu and Beijing. This new service aims to offer passengers a convenient and efficient travel option for exploring the vibrant cities of Beijing and Kathmandu. The airline believes that the reintroduction of this flight route will greatly benefit Nepalese tourism and trade.
Starting June 24, 2023, the Kathmandu-Beijing-Kathmandu route will operate every Saturday. The first flight was honored by the presence of Nepal's Ambassador to China, H.E. Mr. Bishnu Pukar Shrestha, symbolizing the strong friendship and cooperation between the two nations. His participation also demonstrates the Nepalese government's commitment to enhancing both sectors, particularly tourism.
The inaugural outbound flight, H9 665, departed from Kathmandu's Tribhuvan International Airport at 7:40 local time and is scheduled to arrive at Beijing Daxing International Airport at 14:15 local time, with a flight duration of 4 hours and 45 minutes. The return flight, H9-666, will depart from Beijing at 15:25 local time and land in Kathmandu at 18:30 local time.

Passengers can now book their tickets for the Kathmandu-Beijing-Kathmandu flights at Himalaya Airlines' ticketing counter.
