People in Melchham village of Changkheli Rural Municipality in Humla district have got electricity in four years. The completion of Khaparkhola Micro Hydropower in four years brought happiness to the Melchhap people, said a local Makkabir Budha.
Budha further said a team led by project manager Chhakka Bahadur Malla and in-charge Karan Budha Thapa became successful to ensure electricity in the rural village.
Although only a village was electrified at present, the capacity of the hydropower would be scaled up and expanded across Changeli Rural Municipality after some months.
