Kathmandu – Aloft Kathmandu Thamel recently welcomed David Marriott, Chairman of the Board of Marriott International, along with Rajeev Menon and other senior leaders from Marriott International during their visit to Nepal.

The distinguished delegation was received by Vikram Singh, General Manager of Aloft Kathmandu Thamel, who guided the guests on a tour of the property. The visit provided Marriott's leadership team with an opportunity to experience the hotel's contemporary design, vibrant social spaces, and the brand's signature hospitality offerings.
Following the property tour, the delegation visited Nylgiri Above It All, the hotel's rooftop destination, where they were welcomed by Prithvi Pande, Chairman of Aloft Kathmandu Thamel; Pratima Pande; Maheswor Shrestha, Managing Director; and the hotel's Heads of Departments. Guests were introduced to the Nylgiri concept while enjoying a selection of signature beverages and curated culinary experiences.
Speaking on the occasion, Vikram Singh, General Manager of Aloft Kathmandu Thamel, expressed his appreciation for the visit.

The celebration commenced with a cultural dance performance by hotel associates, showcasing Nepal's rich cultural heritage and the enthusiasm of the Aloft Kathmandu Thamel team. The event also provided associates with a valuable opportunity to interact directly with Marriott International's senior leadership and conclude a week dedicated to recognising their hard work and contributions.
The presence of David Marriott and regional leaders underscored Marriott International's commitment to fostering a people-first culture and reaffirmed the company's belief that associates remain at the heart of exceptional hospitality experiences.
