The festival started on October 9 will last until Saturday October 15. With the aim of revitalizing the economy, which has become dormant due to the corona epidemic and economic recession, the number of people is increasing in the exhibition hall of the festival which started under the hands of the Janakpurdham Chamber of Commerce and Industry under the organization of Siya Event.
It is said that the sale room of different types of clothes, shoes, leather goods and other types of daily use goods for women and men has been kept at the festival. Locals claim that more people are attending the festival because they can find cheaper and higher-quality things there than they can elsewhere.
“The audience's interest has increased towards the Nepali products displayed in the festival as well as various goods from Bangladesh, Pakistan, India and China.” said Rakesh Mahato, coordinator of the organizing committee of the festival.
“It has been seen that the consumer's attraction towards foreign clothes and goods has increased along with Nepali. At the festival now around 500 to 700 visitors are coming every day. The attraction of most of the visitors lies in clothes and sarees.” said Coordinator Mahato
“32 sales booths have been set up at the festival in view of the number of visitors. The main attraction in the festival is Bangladeshi clothes and sarees.” He added.
