Number of COVID-19 infected in Karnali reaches 48, all of them had recently arrived home from neighbouring country India

The number of COVID-19 cases has reached 46 in Karnali State. According to the Social Development Ministry, Health Service Division of the State, eight new cases were confirmed today.

The new infected are from Narayan Municipality of Dailekh District. They are the males of 17, 26, 19, 30, 37 and 40-year old. Similarly, one-year old infant and 20-year-old woman tested positive for COVID-19 today. The newly infected are in touch with health workers, the Ministry said. All the infected had recently arrived home from neighbouring country India in the wake of the lockdown.
