Hyatt Place Kathmandu is proudly hosting a prestigious art exhibition that highlights the intricate art forms of Himalayan thangka paintings and sculptures. This exceptional event, held in collaboration with Enlightenment Thangka and Shakya Mandala, explore the profound spiritual aspects of Buddhist artistry.

Enlightenment Thangka, celebrated for their expertise in Vajrayana art over the past two decades, specializes in crafting thangka paintings that serve as spiritual tools. The tradition of thangka painting, which dates back 400 years, is kept alive through their dedication and exceptional skill.

Shakya Mandala, a guardian of Nepalese craftsmanship and spiritual heritage, maintains the sacred Shakya lineage. Each of their meticulously crafted Buddhist statues embodies centuries-old traditions and carries the blessings of compassion and wisdom.

The exhibition began with an exclusive opening on July 5, 2024, attended by notable dignitaries including Air Chief Marshal Sudarshan Pathirana (Retd), Ambassador of Sri Lanka; H.E. PARK Tae-Young, Ambassador of Korea; and representatives from the Consulates of Colombia and Luxembourg, alongside prominent figures from international NGOs and the business community.
