Madan Krishna Shrestha and Harivansh Acharya, patrons of the school, senior artists, and Uttam Sanjel, president and visionary of the school, have come to America to participate in the program with cultural programs in different nine states.
Nepalese were prominently present in the grand beautification ceremony and cultural evening organized by Samata Global Senate.
A dozen artists including singers Ramrishna Dhakal, Bimal Dangi, and Nisha Sunar performed songs and dances at Samata Sanjh organized in collaboration with RK Foundation America to help children deprived of education in their motherland. Mah Jodi also gave a performance.
About 50,000 students are studying through Samata Vidyalaya in schools opened in 77 districts of Nepal. Mahjodi is the guardian of the school where students can study from class 1 to postgraduate for a fee of 100 rupees.
"We have come this time to request our Nepali sisters and brothers in America to contribute to the field of education. Since Samata Vidyalaya is a model of an excellent educational institution and has been run by one person for the past 22 years, we are appealing to join hands with It." said senior artist Shrestha

“In the field of education, to support the schools run by Samata Vidyalaya, Nepalese living abroad will be given the title of senator by paying a certain fee.
