Aloft Kathmandu Thamel’s International Women’s Day celebration focused on empowering women through workshops, entrepreneurial opportunities, and community support, reflecting the hotel’s commitment to gender equality and inclusivity.

Kathmandu, March 10, 2025 – Aloft Kathmandu Thamel hosted a successful International Women’s Day celebration on March 9th at Aloft Hotel and Chhaya Center Courtyard, drawing together women entrepreneurs, community organizations, and families. The event, centered around the theme #AccelerateAction, emphasized the importance of promoting gender equality through significant initiatives in areas such as menstrual health, entrepreneurship, and community inclusivity.

Beneficiaries from Amma Ghar, Pabitra Samaj Sewa, and the Orphan and Helpless Children Development Society were welcomed with a day of joy, empowerment, and support. The Menstrual Hygiene Workshop was a key part of the event, educating attendees about women’s health, while the Women Entrepreneurs Market gave local women-led businesses a platform to showcase their products and connect with the community.
