The Bagmati provincial government has decided to provide Rs. 25.5 million to different six hospitals in the province. The additional fund is being provided to help with the COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures.

The fund will be provided through the Ministry of Social Development as per the decision of the Province disaster management steering committee. Those receiving the funds include Singati hospital of Dolakha, COVID hospital run by Likhu rural municipality and City community hospital in Nuwakot, Nepal-Korea friendship hospital in Bhaktapur, Manmohan memorial community hospital, Kathmandu and Khwapa hospital of Bhaktapur.

Likewise, the meeting also decided to send immediate food relief to the flood survivors of Helambu and Melamchi of Sindhupalchowk. Furthermore, the rescue materials in the warehouse of the Province emergency operation centre will be dispatched to district police offices in Dhading, Nuwakot, Rasuwa, Sindhupalchowk, Kavre and Dolakha districts in coordination with the Nepali Police.
