Ghintangghisi cultural dance is performed by those who disguise themselves as cows in decorative costumes, facemasks and headdresses. The festival started with a puja conducted by the Natyashwori Temple Guthi Sansthan at Sukuldhoka in the evening on Janaipurnima.
On the commencement day, the Ghintangghisi dance went through the city. Similarly, on a concluding day, hundreds of people took out a rally along with lit candles going through the city. Various cultural and traditional dances including that of Devi, Mahakali, Bhairav, Lakhe and monkey were also organised.
